“Song” is from a collection of works titled “Around the Block and Back Again” -  which is an eclectic bunch of pieces written over many years.

“Song” is a song without words - one melody repeated. The coda section should be played with delicacy. The high G should stand out; but the open lower E plus Eb chord must be played sotto voce with equal dynamic; else the dissonance will jar the senses.

This piece is suitable for intermediate to advanced performers.
